The Centre - What's On

The Centre caters for all age groups. As well as the regular activities listed below, we offer a variety of leisure and vocational courses throughout the year. These have included parenting courses, personal development, glass painting and other craft classes, exercise classes and children's dance and drama - phone the church office for details of upcoming courses.

Weekly Activities

The following activities run throughout the year, generally from September - June. Unless otherwise indicated, they all take place in The Centre. Contact the Church office for more information.

Flutterbies Playgroup

Monday-Friday 9.15am-12.15pm

Playgroup is for pre-school children from 2yrs 9 months to 4 years old.

If you wish to enquire about getting a playgroup place for your child, please conatct the church office for details.

Monday

  • Senior Citizens' Bowls: 2.00pm
  • Ballet and Tap Class: 2.30 & 3.30pm
Tots & Co Logo

Tuesday

  • Tots & Co: 10am-11.30am - a safe, stimulating environment for your children to play while you take time out for coffee and a chat!

Wednesday

  • Senior Citizens' Luncheon Club: 12noon - come along for lunch and a chat! Meals need to be pre-booked; please contact the church office beforehand.
  • Men's Bowling: 2.00pm
  • Drama Class: 3.30pm
  • Tap Class: 4.30pm

  • Women's Group: 10.00am (creche available)
  • Weight Watchers: 10.30am & 12.30pm
  • Pythagoras Group: 6.00pm-7.30pm - for secondary school pupils - get some help with maths and science homework!
